Who we are

Genesis Landscape Contractors, Inc. a New Jersey based landscaping design contractor has been proudly serving commercial and residential properties throughout New Jersey since 1989. Genesis specializes in custom landscaping design, pool design and construction, computer generated landscape designs and master plans, outdoor lighting, plantings, retaining walls, patios and walks, outdoor kitchens and fireplaces, grading and drainage, and in-house old world masonry such as bluestone and natural stone flat work. In addition to extensive design and build capabilities Genesis Landscape offers a wide variety of property management services such as: regular lawn maintenance, tree and shrub pruning, mulching, irrigation, outdoor lighting repair, snow plowing and ice control, and organic land care.

Genesis has committed to being New Jersey’s premier environmentally conscious landscape contractor. Employing multiple highly trained organic land care professionals, Genesis Landscape offers a fully organic lawn, shrub and tree care system. These programs are carefully designed and closely managed by NOFA AOLCP (Accredited Organic Land Care Professional) and NJCOLCP (Rutgers – New Jersey Certified Organic Land Care Professional) on the Genesis team. Much care and close attention is devoted to the elimination of synthetic fertilizers and toxic pesticides, proper cultural practices, water conservation and the introduction of native plant species to balance the ecology of a property. Core Aeration, over seeding, compost top dressing, compost tea applications, soil testing, pH adjustments, air spade tree collar correction and radial trenching, are just some of the techniques employed by Genesis.
